A downloadable retail simulation for Windows
Cart Life is a retail simulation for windows.
It was first shown at Inkthirsty (a small art gallery in Eugene, Oregon) in 2011, then released for download in 2012.
This game was included in the Indiecade videogame festival as a nominee. The Independent Games Festival awarded Cart Life with its first "Excellence in Narrative" prize as well as "Nuovo Award" and the "Seamus McNally Grand Prize".
After a year or so on Steam, I released this game and its source code as free and open-source.
Since then, this retail simulation has appeared in art and games festivals worldwide; most recently as part of NEGOCIO Exhibition held at CC Las Cigarreras in Alicente, Spain.
Included in this download are the game's soundtrack, an HTML-formatted book called "How To Make Money In Street Vending", and a dumb bonus game ("Lawn Defender").
